About Me

Starting as a nurse trainee at St. Luke's Medical Center, my journey in the healthcare industry has spanned over a decade, blending clinical expertise with data science and health informatics. After a year of hands-on experience as an intensive care unit nurse, I transitioned into nursing informatics, eventually advancing to the role of nursing informatics manager.

This foundational experience in clinical settings and informatics paved the way for my move into Getz Clinical, where I began as a data analyst. My role evolved into leading product development, serving as both product owner and scrum master for an analytics platform.

Understanding the intricacies of software development propelled me into the public health informatics arena. I joined Interactive Research and Development to provide technical assistance to the Philippine Department of Health's National Tuberculosis Program.

Currently, I am a public health informatics fellow at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In this role, I work on various informatics, data engineering, and data science projects, leveraging my extensive background to drive impactful public health initiatives.
